Over the past 40 years we have established our firm as the leading public accounting practice in the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia. Although we emphasize our independence in mental attitude and financial involvement, we frequently assume an aggressive advocacy role on behalf of our clients.

On August 1, 1963, Philip P. Cox opened the doors of the Martinsburg, WV office of Yount, Hyde & Company, a Virginia based firm in which he was a partner. Then in December 1970, he founded our firm, having purchased their Martinsburg office. The firm became a partnership in 1972 when Douglas L. Allemong became a partner. The firm was restructured in October 2006 as CoxHollidaPrice with partners, Fred Hollida, Tony Price and Chuck Young. As of January 2011, Brian Romine was admitted as the firm’s fourth partner.
